The U/18s started the day off well when they finished their season with a great win over Hampton Park to finish sixth in what was a great achievement by all the players throughout the season and we hope to see them all back at the doves nest in 2012. A big thanks to Coach Dave Hoy and his many helpers notably George Hardie, Hilly and Wooly and all the parents who supported the boys week in week out. The Reserves continued their improvement with a solid victory and really played well with many good contributors. The Seniors lead for most of the game and held a 19point lead at ¾ time but were unable to stop a rampaging Hampton Park in the final term which was disappointing for the boys who worked really hard to put themselves in a winning position. With that loss went any chance of playing finals in 2011 but there was a real improvement this season and we will pull out all stocks to take the next step in 2012. Today we only have the seniors and reserves playing and it is really important to finish the season on a high with two good wins.

The Doveton FC also expresses its best wishes to E/Hills U/16s in their efforts to win the premiership at Shepley oval tomorrow starting at 3.00pm.

 Tonight, stay around and enjoy our last night at the club for the season with a Karaoke/DJ night.
