WELCOME TO SEASON 2011 Firstly a big warm
welcome to all of the new players and supporters to the club this
season And also a big
welcome back to the good old troopers for another season. Season 2011 has
already got of to a good start with fantastic numbers at training
and and everyone putting 100% which is a great sign for the club. Juniors are
booming and already looking good, training well and i must say this
year there is height in the junior teams YAY. Selections have
been done and out of the 29 girls we had register we have picked 2
great teams that i am sure will do really well this year.. We are also
welcoming a few players back from having thier little bubbas and
also a big congratulations to Melinda Wilson on the Birth of Sienna
and Cass on the birth of . Season 2011 will
start of with the girls playing 2 practice matches one against the
pines and the other being Sommerville also we have entered a team in
the Cranbourne Tourny .......... Some of the
seniors are doing extra training which is great we are going to be
doing ZUMBA on a sat morning at the rooms. After several
Emails and phone calls the juniors are off to the netball to watch
the Vixon play against Flames and we will be part of the cheer
squad. The juniors will
receive a hat, top and drums and bibs and they get to keep it all we
will also be meeting the team before they play YAY Then in the
following weeks 2 Players from Vixons will be coming down to train
doveton for 1 hour and teaching us some drills and new plays. And i must say
that the club is very excited about that. Our lights will be
in by the end of march after a long long couple of years of
orginizing and i must say that Karen Dawson has done a fantastic job
with council. So a big thanks to Kaz Uniforms – most
players will have their uniforms by round one and also on the season
launch day there will be a man there taking orders for trackys and
hoodies and i must say they look really nice. Last of all i want
to thank all of the committee for 2011, everyone has put in some
hard work and as you can see and feel around the club the vibe is
great ...........................
I think this season Doveton
will be a Very successful one for all involved. Get down and support
