Round 7 Doveton v's Tooradin

Doves Have Big Win
Eight goals by Ryan Hendy led the way for the Doves to have a emphatic win over Tooradin. We shot away to a four goal led in the first quarter only to have Tooradin come back hard in the first ten minutes of the second, but we booted away to go into the half time break twenty six points up. The second half was a completely  dominated by Doveton with us kicking fourteen goals to one and come away with some healthy percentage in what we thought to be a danger game. The backline again was in sensational form and it was good to see Russell Gabriel back from injury and having a big influence on the game, Pickles, JJ and Dougie also put in top games. Next week we have the long weekend break and then come up against the undefeated Pakenham away on the hall of fame weekend.

Hard fought Win to the Reserves
The scoreline didn't indicate the true nature of the reserves game as Tooradin took it up to the boys and we had to work for the victory. Mick Rodders play a dominating game kicking five and Jason McCloy along with Shaun Semmens played good games. The team seems to be just going through the motions at the moment and need to pick up there intensity if there going to give themselves a chance to win three in a row.
