Round 8 Doveton v's Tooradin (away) Doves Move Up To Fourth After a hard fought and  sluggish first half the boys pulled away in the second half to record a thirty four point win and move up one on the ladder to fourth. Bulldog again worked tirelessly in the ruck and Pearso knocked up getting possessions as did John Atwell, but the highlight of the day was young Harley's second half, one grab marks and four goals helped the team win comfortably in the end. Just to let everyone know Rowdy is OK, but he feels like he's been hit by a "TRUCK" a bloody big one. The two's led all day to record a good solid win and it was good to Sean Kelleher back in the green and black. It was a good team effort by all the boy's, but a special mention to young Sean Paynter who was in the goals again with six. The Thirds had to play at Keysborough against Pakenham and come away with a five goal win well done boys. The good thing now is when we play sides without thirds the replacement games will be at home. The Fancy Dress night was a success and a lot of fun ( as you will see by the pix ), but it could have been better if a few more had have made the effort. (game pix)  (fancy dress pix)
